- Applying and maintaining Non-Financial Risk Metrics to our existing Estate of Applications working with our team of ITAOs and the Corporate Bank Embedded Risk Team (ERT)
- Ensuring Audit and Self-Identified Issues (SIIs) are addressed and progressed through relevant and appropriate changes working with business and technical stakeholders across both with Security Services and the wider Corporate Bank working with our ERT and the Business Control Unit.
- Leading Regulatory and Market changes arising within the disparate Legal and Markets domains in which we operate.
- Working with Engineering colleagues within SeS encourage and ensure best practice in the application of NFRM measures to our Application estate.
- Reporting on status and progress to our Business Stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Self driven and organised with proven experience of dealing with senior Stakeholders.
- Total experience in a Banking/regulatory environment of min 15 years
- A strong technology background to manage and challenge ITAOs and Lead Engineers and exposure to an Agile organization with frequent deliveries.
- Knowledge of our 3 Lines of Defense and more specifically the Risk & Control landscape applied to the Banks technical estate.
- Prior experience of working with Auditors or a background in Audit or Consultancy carrying out studies into business practices and/or involvement in Corporate Bank business lines such as Cash, Client Connectivity or Trade Finance
- Knowledge of our key reference data sources and central control functions such as Know Your Customer.
- Any experience with the software and hardware technologies employed across the Corporate Bank such as (JVM - Java, Kotlin, Scala or Microsoft, TypeScript/JS) or awareness of Cloud technologies (GCP, K8s, OpenShift) or Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) - highly desirable
