- Create, edit, digitize, and maintain GIS datasets (feature classes, geodatabases, domains, subtypes).
- Manage multiple evolving datasets while ensuring data integrity, traceability, and metadata completeness.
- Perform spatial data validation and implement structured data quality checks.
- Conduct spatial analysis (overlay, buffering, proximity, suitability, network analysis, terrain/3D analysis as applicable).
- Interpret results and present insights through maps, dashboards, and technical documentation.
- Deliver outputs aligned to project standards, schedules, and client expectations.
- Hands-on experience using ArcGIS Pro and applying relevant extensions for project needs, such as:
- Spatial Analyst (raster analysis, suitability models, map algebra)
- 3D Analyst (TIN/DSM/DTM workflows, 3D scenes, visibility analysis)
- Network Analyst (routing, closest facility, service areas)
- Data Interoperability (ETL workflows, conversions, integration)
- (Optional) Geostatistical Analyst or other extensions, depending on project scope.
- Design, produce, and revise high-quality cartographic outputs (layouts, map series, symbology standards).
- Ensure adherence to mapping/survey standards and consistent representation across deliverables.
- Develop reusable map templates and styles to standardize outputs.
- Support ArcGIS Online (AGOL) workflows—web maps, web apps, publishing services, and access management (as applicable).
- Support mobile data capture solutions such as Survey123 and Field Maps/Collector, including form configuration, publishing, and QA.
- Integrate CAD-derived datasets (DWG/DXF) into GIS workflows, ensuring correct coordinate reference systems and attribution.
- Understand survey inputs and standard representation (symbols, standards, and accuracy expectations).
- Perform QC/QA checks on spatial data and map deliverables (topology, attributes, completeness, geometry validation).
- Maintain documentation, checklists, and evidence for quality compliance.
- Prepare technical documents, methodologies/work instructions, and effort estimates.
- Present technical outputs clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, survey, CAD/BIM, and project management).
- Strong proficiency in ArcGIS Pro for editing, analysis, geoprocessing, and map production.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro extensions: Spatial Analyst / 3D Analyst / Network Analyst / Data Interoperability (as applicable).
- Good understanding of:
- Coordinate systems, projections, georeferencing
- Raster and vector data models
- Geodatabases, publishing, and data QA/QC
- Experience with AGOL and mobile workflows (Survey123/Field Maps).
- Ability to work with CAD data (DWG/DXF) in GIS and handle survey-based mapping standards.
- Python / ArcPy / ArcGIS Python API
- FME (ETL, conversions, CAD→GIS transformation)
- Experience with enterprise databases (e.g., SQL Server) and/or ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset.

- Postgraduate qualification in GIS / Engineering or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of professional GIS experience.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience delivering successful projects end-to-end (quality, time, and stakeholder expectations).
- French language proficiency (spoken and written) – ability to collaborate with Francophone stakeholders and interpret documentation.
- Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written) – ability to support Hispanic stakeholders and regional project coordination.
