
Project Manager II - Technical Project and Program Management

- Develops, refines, validates and manages project plans to ensure on time and on budget
- Responsible for utilizing project management methods, standards, project integration as
- Provides timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project
- Develops project plans based on specifications provided by the Portfolio Management staff
- Builds consensus among multiple process leads relative to project scope, task execution,
- Sourcing with vendors on behalf of the business area represented.
- Provides overall financial direction for the projects to manage the development of budgets,
- Identifies potential risks within the project; proactively manages issues.
- Participates in identifying project costs, resource allocation, project schedule changes and
- Frequently interacts with staff including business area management, portfolio managers,
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with both internal and external
- Conduct formal review with business sponsor at project completion to confirm acceptance
- Resource and Capacity Management
- Coach the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile/Scrum practices,
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release
- Guide the groups they work with by providing meaningful feedback and effectively facilitate
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with both internal and external
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Engineering
- PMP / Scrum Master certification / CSP / PMI-ACP / Related certification required, SaFE
- 12+ years of IT experience including min 4 years of Project Management and Scrum Master
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Good group presentation skills.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Technical aptitude to work closely with software engineers
- Competent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Thorough knowledge of waterfall methodologies on technically complex projects
- Strong experience around project financials / budget management and reporting, and and resource
- Agile Scrum experience
- Mandatory - Advanced Excel skills, such as data analysis, pivot tables, lookups.
- Mandatory - Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) : Jira / Azure DevOps
- Nice to Have - Experience of Project and Portfolio Management tools e.g., Clarity, Open Workbench
