We understand that time is valuable, and we develop all of our assets with this principle in mind. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior 3D Artist. The Senior 3D Artist will be responsible for creating high-quality, optimized, and game-ready 3D assets for various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including other artists, designers, and programmers. As a Senior, you will be expected to guide and mentor the team in best practices for 3D asset creation and workflow optimization. A strong artistic eye and technical proficiency are essential for this role. The Senior 3D Artist will also be responsible for maintaining visual consistency, troubleshooting, and ensuring assets meet the project's requirements. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in game development as a 3D Artist - Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D art, including environment assets, props, and characters - Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software, such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender - Strong understanding of PBR texturing workflows and experience with texturing software, such as Substance Painter - Experience with creating and optimizing assets for real-time rendering in game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity - Knowledge of art pipelines, asset optimization, and performance constraints for game development - Familiarity with level design principles and modular asset creation - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including other artists, designers, and programmers - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Experience with version control systems, such as Git or Perforce Bonus - Experience with rigging and animation - Proficiency in creating shaders and materials within game engines - Ability to create concept art or 2D illustrations - Experience with virtual texturing or texture streaming techniques - Knowledge of lighting and rendering techniques for real-time environments - Experience writing documentation and creating tutorials for art workflows
