- Import and Export Management:
- Manage the import and export of manufacturing components (motors, batteries, sensors, etc.) and finished products to/from international markets.
- Coordinate shipping schedules, routes, and customs procedures to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with international trade laws.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and distributors to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics.
- Customs and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade laws, tariffs, and sanctions in the drone manufacturing industry.
- Prepare, review, and submit accurate documentation for customs clearance, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, duty rates, and import/export restrictions affecting drone technology.
- Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams ( Sales & Marketing , SCM Finance , R&D ) to manage Scomet Licencing , ETA /WPC licencing
- Coordinate with Government, transport agencies to get work done on time.
- Vendor and Supplier Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate favorable terms with freight carriers, customs brokers, and other external partners to reduce costs and improve service delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for all imports and exports, maintaining a comprehensive record of transactions for audit purposes.
- Generate regular reports on import/export activities, costs, and any issues affecting the supply chain.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks in the import/export process, such as regulatory changes, currency fluctuations, or geopolitical issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee insurance requirements for shipments and ensure the safe transport of drone products across borders.
- Cost Control:
- Develop strategies to reduce logistics and shipping costs while maintaining a high standard of service and timely deliveries.
- Monitor budget and expenses related to international trade activities, ensuring they align with company goals and financial constraints.
