Freshworks Global Marketing Operations team is looking for a Marketing Data and Analytics Manager to join us. In this role, you'll join the Global Marketing Operations team that is responsible for managing the tools, systems, processes, data and analytics that make Freshworks Growth and Marketing team more efficient, effective, and data-driven. You will be responsible for setting up holistic Data architecture and Analytics function for growth and Marketing function. This would encompass working very closely with our IT infrastructure and Bizapps and with different Growth and Marketing functions.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Create a Vision for Marketing data infrastructure which will create a foundation for sustainable and repeatable insights and analytics.
Work closely with IT infrastructure team in, first understanding the current data lake, enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence platforms and then creating a data platform which provides a 360 degree view of customer behavior.
Work with revenue operations and wider Marketing operations team in understanding and building the requirements for 3rd party data enrichment which will help in building a holistic customer data platform by linking the first party and 3rd party data.
Build Account governance and hierarchy models which helps in determining the Go to market activities and also establishes a tighter engagement between sales and marketing teams.
Creates a roadmap for analytics and advanced analytics which would empower Marketing and sales team in understanding Total addressable market, focused segmentation, provides competitive intelligence and Share of Wallet and ingrains Predictive models in planning and execution.
Create a world class reporting and insights framework which provides a very realistic view of customer journey and provides metrics and benchmark reflecting performance of Growth and Marketing organization.
Masters degree in mathematics, statistics, marketing, business administration, or computer science.
Experience in building an Enterprise data architecture which is scalable and sustainable.
8+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, statistics, and data modelling
Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
Experience using statistical computer languages like R, Python, SQL, etc. to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques like clustering, random forest, artificial neural networks, boosting, trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc. and their real-world advantages and drawbacks
Willing to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Experience analyzing data from third-party providers like Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, Coremetrics, AdWords, Facebook Insights, etc. is a plus
Creative presentation skills for packaging analytics in a simple and actionable way
Good communication skills to share analyses with global marketing teams and leadership
Experience in leading a team of 3 to 4 data engineers, architects, BI and data scientists.
