Front-End Accessibility Developer (WCAG Remediation) | Contract | 3-6 Years ExperiencePosition type: ContractLocation: Onsite - Noida, India (open to India-based candidates only)We're identifying experienced Front-End Accessibility Developers to support remediation of existing HTML-based web content and components to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This is a hands-on role focused on fixing accessibility issues at the code and DOM level, not audit or strategy work.What you'll doRemediate HTML5 and static web content using existing templates and component structuresIdentify and resolve accessibility issues related to semantic markup, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrastDebug and fix interaction and behavior issues at the DOM level using JavaScript and jQueryPerform accessibility validation using tools such as Axe, WAVE, NVDA, and JAWS, along with manual testingWork within defined workflows to deliver consistent, compliant outputs at scaleCollaborate with QA and stakeholders to ensure quality and completenessGuide junior developers on accessibility best practices and review their work as neededDocument remediation approaches and maintain clear records of changesWhat you bring3 to 6 years of hands-on front-end development experience, including accessibility remediationStrong JavaScript and jQuery skills, including DOM manipulation and event handlingPractical, working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards and implementationExperience using accessibility testing tools and assistive technologiesStrong troubleshooting skills across browsers and responsive environmentsAbility to work independently and take ownership of assigned deliverablesNice to haveExperience working in template-driven or component-based environmentsExposure to QA processes and structured remediation workflowsAccessibility certifications or formal WCAG trainingThis is a contract opportunity supporting a structured accessibility remediation program with defined workflows, tools, and standards.
