Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesResponsible for DVP finalization and execution - Component level and Engine level. - Crankcase, cylinder head, FEAD, valve train, Intake & Exhaust layout etcResponsible for preparing the 3D model and 2D for the different engine componentsInteraction with supplier finalizing the component level DVPO requirement and execution of DVP.Interaction with design team for design corrections based on field failure analysis.Tear down and wear analysis for the engine components.Design review and DFMEA for the engine systems.Experience12+ yearsIndustry PreferredAutomobile - Mechanical development domainQualificationsBE/ ME (Electrical and Electronics)General RequirementsTechnical domain expertise - Mechanical devbelopment domain for diesel/CNG engines (Failure analysis & DVP execution)

Understanding of the Mechanical development approach - Failure analysis tools.
Understanding of failure analysis - 8D preparation
Knoweldege of different engine systems
Should have knowledge of the different manufacturing process
Should know about the interface vehicle systems
Familiar with the different application requirements
Diesel / CNG Engine development domain core experties - Failure analysis & DVP execution
Knowledge of different DVP requirement for engine systems
Knowledge of After treatment system
Expert in failure analysis - Fishbone diagram, 8D preparation.
