We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency in financial software, and an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update accounting records and files with accuracy and compliance. Conduct bookkeeping tasks using Zoho accounting software. Perform bank reconciliations and handle bank-related tasks diligently. Filing of GST and TDS returns, adhering to statutory compliance. Manage documentation efficiently for accounting and financial processes. Assist in various ad-hoc tasks related to reporting, accounts, taxation, and finance as required. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping and a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals. Well-versed in statutory compliances and relevant laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with Google Docs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Desirable Skills: Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Educational Qualifications Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate level with a minimum of 3 years of internship experience, including proficiency in closure of books of account; OR Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
