Assistant Professor - Chemistry

• Teach undergraduate courses in chemistry, including introductory and advanced level courses, laboratory sessions, and other courses as needed
• Develop course materials, such as syllabi, lectures, and assignments, that are engaging and relevant to current trends in the field
• Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure consistency in course content and assessment
• Advise students on academic and career matters, including research opportunities and graduate school applications
• Conduct research in chemistry, including writing grants, publishing scholarly articles, and presenting at conferences
• Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work, faculty meetings, and other events as needed

• A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field from an accredited institution
• A record of excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success
• Demonstrated research expertise and a strong publication record in chemistry or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff to enhance the academic and research programs of the college
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
