- Own and manage the entire end-to-end invoice processing activity and development to meet the needs of a growing organisation, including Credit card oversight and reconciliation. Ensuring processes are timely and accurate and compliant with applicable policies and controls standards.
- Work with other teams to enhance the end to end cost accounting and accruals processes to deliver quality and timely outcomes with minimal manual intervention
- Query management relating to supplier payments and staff expenses
- Investment cost oversight and reconciliation of investment expenses
- Responsible for anticipating impacts to the AP team from any changes in the business, regulations or systems, and working proactively with relevant teams to address the same
- Ensuring the integrity of services, controls and deliverables provided by third party service providers into the team
- Develop the vision for a high performing, efficient and resilient team and inspire the team to perform to high standards and high engagement. Provide inspiring leadership to the teams reporting into the role, set objectives and manage performance and career aspirations
- Create a culture of continuous improvement, streamlining and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance service delivery. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices. Ensure systems are in place to provide timely and reliable MI for all areas of responsibility
- Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
