Production Planning & Control 1) Devising production planning systems & processes in support of the business goals. 2) Prepare production plan for the month using sales forecast and existing stocks and capacities. 3) Liaising closely and communicating the forecast plans with different internal functions including production, sales, rest of supply chain. 4) Monitor Plan V/s Actual on daily basis & coordinating with Production & Materials for the execution of the production plan. 5) Conduct root-cause analysis in case of unusual variances between plan and actual production. PPC Executio n 1) Closely working with the Marketing, Production, Despatch, Finished Goods Departments to meet the execution of the production plan. 2) Provide inputs to the Procurement team in case of significant production volume fluctuations so that appropriate actions can be taken. 3) Constant coordination and discussion with in-house planning manager on a regular basis, on matters pertaining to decisions on production plan. I nventory Management 1) Plan, control and monitor the WIP (Work in Progress) so as to plan production accordingly. 2) Work with the Marketing, Costing & Production Departments on liquidation of the slow moving items in the best possible way. 3) Analyzing inventory patterns and deriving insights & actionable access so as to modify existing processes in order to deliver results. 4) Conduct regular stock check so as to ensure that the physical and system stock is accurate. Team management & development Maintain team performance through coaching, counseling, monitoring, and appraising job results in order to enhance competency. Required Qualification 1) B.E / B.Tech from Reputed University/Institution + MBA Experience 8 to 12 years' experience in Supply chain & Production Planning Technical Knowledge / Skill 1) Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and material control experience in manufacturing setup 2) Inventory Management 3) Knowledge of the production systems / Just In Time / Lean Manufacturing / Kanban system etc.
