Job Category: Applied R&DJob Description:Join Nokia's Cloud and Network Services group, where we design and deliver cutting-edge network and cloud solutions across industries. In this role, you'll contribute to the Nokia Assurance Center - a multi-vendor, cloud-native platform powered by Bell Labs AI/ML and seamlessly integrated with the Nokia Orchestration Center - driving intelligent, automated operations within the Digital Operations Center.Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software that enhances availability, scalability, latency, and resiliency.
  • Collaborate using modern engineering practices such as pair-programming, software refactoring, and AI-driven approaches to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Champion software craftsmanship with a strong focus on agile and lean values, always prioritizing quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery by embracing best engineering practices and innovation.
  • Contribute to architectural and strategic decisions, shaping best-in-class software solutions in the Telco domain.
  • Partner with domain experts, solution architects, and delivery teams while enjoying opportunities for career growth, skill development, and influence in advanced software design.
Qualifications:You have:
  • A degree in Technology, Engineering, or related fields (BTech/MTech) with 4 - 8years of Development experience
  • Strong interest in programming languages and frameworks such as React18, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript, along with experience in containers and tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity in REST services and API design/usage, including JSON, REST, Swagger, and AVRO.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams; fluent in spoken and written English.
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Database knowledge in SQL or MariaDB or Postgres or RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, GitLab)
  • Knowledge of Test automation tool - Junit, Jest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber and Test-driven development
  • Knowledge of dependency management (e.g., Webpack, Maven, Gradle, npm)
  • Use of AI Development tools like Github Copilot, Windsurf
