Audit Management & Compliance: Lead and manage audits for financial statements and regulatory reporting, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS and relevant standards.
Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, identify trends, and provide insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and coach junior staff to achieve departmental objectives while fostering a culture of high performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, partnering with finance, risk, and operational departments to resolve complex accounting issues.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for automation and efficiency enhancement, ensuring continuous improvement in financial practices and processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and business leaders.
Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry regulations, and up-to-date accounting principles.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should possess:

Chartered Accountant (CA) certification with a minimum of 5+ years of expertise in audit and financial reporting.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other financial reporting regulations.
Previous experience working in Financial Services or a similar industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a flair for mentoring teams.
Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
