Mgt,; P2P), driven by ethic and business-minded approach for the best interest of Roquette GroupYour experience and talents will make the difference to:As Procurement Specialist – Corn, incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a procurement and purchasing strategy for corn, managing supplier relationships, monitoring market prices, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations.Key Accountabilities
- Developing and managing the panel of local suppliers for corn, including referencing, evaluation, negotiation of contractual agreements, monitoring, contract review, audits, etc.
- Identifying action plans to improve performance with a "Total Cost of Ownership" approach and improve supplier relationships and performance management processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety regulations, group quality standards, and customer needs.
- Monitoring and reporting market prices & basis in the group's tools to assess the physical and financial coverage situation, measuring deviations from risks and the company's management framework, and participating in the development of coverage strategies.
- Tracking and mapping Supply & Demand for Maize / Corn & other competing crops.
- Continuously developing suppliers - accreditation, evaluation, negotiation, follow-up, audits to improve RM quality and traceability.
- Optimizing buying and providing an advantage versus the market & others with respect to sourcing, quality, landed parity.
- Working in close connection with other Functions/Departments (Logistics, Planning, Quality, Manufacturing, GBUs) at the local level, to fully integrate their needs, support business development, and optimize the portfolio.
- Providing data analytics to provide key inputs to buying and business strategy.
- Developing in-depth expertise of the market and analyzing its evolution, organization, structure, regulations, laws, participants.
- Working towards reducing inefficiencies across the value chain.
- Managing the procure to pay process in accordance with Roquette policies, including contracting, etc.
- Working in close co-ordination with the global procurement team for understanding and implementation of India / Global strategy.
- Defending Roquette’s best interests & defend / Coordinate with respective national authorities & professional associations.
- Enhancing supplier relationship and supplier performance management process to ensure compliance with Quality and Safety regulation, Roquette standards, and customer needs.

- Post Graduate in MBA with 8 to 10 relevant years experience
