- Entry level professional roles requiring a discipline specific degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
- General professional and conceptual knowledge of theories and principles within a discipline Basic understanding of the roles of relevant functional groups within own area
- Applies general knowledge of business, developed through education, to make informed judgements
- Manage tax return population including Federal and State Compliance for large corporate and international clients.
- Gathering information, requesting missing information, scheduling the return for preparation and reviewing tax return and coordinating with managers to get the returns delivered to the clients within timeframe.
- Knowledge on various tax technical concepts, software(s) and tools used in preparation of tax returns including GoSystem, Onesource, ProFx, etc.
- Perform tax research and analysis for clients in diverse industries including tax laws associated with state income tax modifications, credits and apportionment.
- Review Federal, International, State & City tax returns including 1065, 1120, 1120S, 5471etc.
- Provide extensive training to new hires as well as experienced colleagues
- Managing teams for reviewing returns and work papers, training them on various tax technical aspects.
- Knowledge of preparation of various tax work papers including consolidation, A&A, Bonus depreciation, etc.
- Knowledge of calculation and preparation of estimate/extension payments.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients.
- Provides guidance or specialized services that directly support or affect results within one functional area
