Our mission is to drive innovation and excellence in automotive engineering, digitalization, and sustainable mobility solutions, shaping the future of mobility.Job Title: Sr. Product Design Engineer - SchematicsKey Responsibilities:Design and develop wiring harness schematics for passenger cars.Select appropriate connectors, fuses, and components based on engineering requirements and design guidelines.Perform quality checks on schematics and ensure compliance with MB norms, standards, and processes.Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams across global locations.Support integration of various systems (ECUs, electrical-electronic functions, CAN topology, etc.) into vehicle schematics.Contribute to continuous improvement by staying updated with technological advancements such as battery systems and high-voltage harness development.Required Skills and Experience:5.5-10.5 years of overall industry experience, with 5-7 years in wiring harness design and development.Strong understanding of automotive control systems, ECUs, and electrical/electronic functions.Expertise in wiring harness schematic design, connector and fuse selection, CAN topology, and engineering requirements.Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Unigraphics NX, Ldorado, E3-Cable, PREEVision.Awareness of PLM systems and MB standards/processes.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with global suppliers and teams.German language skills and international project exposure are advantageous.QualificationsEducational Qualifications:Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Design.Post-graduate specialization in Wiring Harness / Electrical Design is a plus.Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):Exposure to MB norms, standards, and engineering processes.Awareness of future technologies in wiring harness development (e.g., battery, high voltage).Global project experience and German language proficiency.Why Join Us?Be part of a purpose-driven organization that's shaping the future of mobility.Work on cutting-edge automotive technologies and global projects.Thrive in a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment.Access world-class infrastructure and learning opportunities.Equal Opportunity Statement:
