1. Role OverviewWe are seeking a Device Driver Validation Engineer with experience in validating multimedia drivers including audio, video, and camera. The role involves executing test cases, debugging issues using log analysis, and working across Linux, Android, and Chrome OS environments. The candidate will contribute to driver validation, issue triaging, and ensuring software reliability. 2. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform validation and testing of device drivers for multimedia components (audio, video, camera)
  • Execute test cases using Python-based test frameworks
  • Analyze system and driver logs to identify and debug issues
  • Perform debugging and root cause analysis of driver-level defects
  • Work with Linux-based systems (mandatory) for driver validation
  • Validate drivers across Android OS and Chrome OS environments
  • Use static analysis and validation tools to assess driver quality
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and improve stability
  • Perform issue triaging based on log analysis and test results
  • Maintain test reports and validation documentation
3. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 7 years of experience in device driver validation or related domain
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments
4. Technical SkillsDriver & OS Knowledge:
  • Device driver validation (audio, video, camera)
  • Linux (mandatory)
  • Android OS, Chrome OS
Testing & Debugging:
  • Python-based test frameworks
  • Log analysis and debugging tools
  • Test case execution and defect tracking
