- Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain high levels of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with FSSAI regulations.
- Ensure timely service and high-quality customer experience at all touchpoints.
- Monitor food presentation and portion control, especially for traditional items like dosa, idli, vada, etc.
- Lead, train, and motivate service crew, kitchen staff, and cleaners.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage daily rosters.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure team is aligned with service goals and SOPs.
- Handle grievances, staff discipline, and on-the-job coaching.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure friendly, polite, and culturally sensitive customer interactions.
- Proactively engage with guests and encourage upselling of combo meals, beverages, and add-ons.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/inventory team for replenishment.
- Prevent wastage and ensure adherence to portioning standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and returns.
- Report daily sales, customer feedback, and staff performance to management.
- Conduct routine audits on hygiene, stock, and cash handling.
- Ensure POS systems, billing, and order-taking are followed properly.
- Experience: Minimum 23 years in a supervisory role in a QSR or South Indian restaurant.
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and people skills
- Excellent communication in English and Kannada, other South Indian languages will (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) will be a bonus.
- Basic computer literacy (POS, Excel)
- Understanding of F&B hygiene standards and QSR service models
