Requirements:
- 5 + years knowledge of Essbase, DRM, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Report Studio, SQL, Smart View
- Experience in Hyperion Essbase Administration is required.
- Ability to develop and maintain Hyperion Essbase applications, data load rules, dimension build rules, calculation scripts, report scripts
- Ability to create, maintain, and optimize Essbase outlines – manually and through MaxL scripts
- Familiarity with Financial Reporting Studio
- Ability to interface with users to quickly correct problems and develop solutions.
- High attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, multi-tasking abilities and team oriented
- Manage operations and end-user support of Essbase application, and Financial Reports
- Ensure smooth Quarter-End close and forecast/outlook cycles through close partnership with Finance and IT business partners
- Coordinate operational handover with global support teams
- Proactively monitor and streamline tasks and procedures following company standards
- Work interdependently with technical infrastructure teams, application teams, and business units to ensure service delivery is meeting business objectives
- Establish and perform standard operational policies and procedures
- Modify/tune existing batch scripts, consolidation/business rules, and Essbase calc scripts
- Create technical documentation, including data flow charts, system diagrams, formulas and methods for solving business problems, incorporating infrastructure requirements and interfaces.
- Update/create end user training documents for HFM and Hyperion Planning/Essbase (including forms, grids, Smart View etc)
- Take on various roles regarding project initiatives while following strict deadlines
