We also support our customers' current and future business requirements with the help of our high level of process and automation competency.Position Overview:The roles and responsibilities of developers entail the design, development, and deployment of SAP Vertex as part of our enterprise-wide S/4HANA implementation.You'll make a difference by:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Vertex O'Series with SAP S/4HANA to meet specific business needs ensuring seamless real-time tax calculation across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
Design, develop, and deploy robust custom enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and integration points using ABAP to enable accurate and automated tax determination, calculation, and reporting.
Ensure the smooth configuration and mapping of tax data between SAP and Vertex, including jurisdiction codes, tax conditions, and reporting structures.
Work closely with Siemens IT, CF T experts, SAP Basis and Security teams to ensure optimal system performance, system integration, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Integrate Vertex O'Series with other systems such as SAP ERP, S/4HANA core modules (e.g. SD, MM, FI), and other external systems.
Ensure user documentation, test plans, and technical solution design documents are up-to-date and align with the internal project standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to support teams during UAT, release, and hypercare phases.
You systematically identify and propose solutions for process improvements, technical issue resolution, as well as standardization, harmonization and automation in customs-related business processes to ensure compliance across customs processes.

Your success is grounded in:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field or have acquired a comparable qualification.
You bring 4-5 years of hands-on SAP development experience.
Demonstrable experience with Vertex O Series integration into SAP S/4HANA, especially for indirect tax determination and calculation.
Deep understanding of and experience with SAP tax procedures, condition techniques, and how tax determination works within FI, SD, and MM modules.
Proficiency in ABAP, OO ABAP, BAPIs, IDocs, ALE, RFCs, BADIs, and User Exits.
Familiarity with S/4HANA architecture and best practices for embedded tax and external tax engine integration.
Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, or SAP CPI is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
Vertex certification or training is a strong advantage.
Business fluent English skills are required, both written and spoken.
