This role ensures adherence to quality assurance procedures, maintains inspection records, reports quality issues, and supports the FQA team in implementing quality improvements and training staff on FQA standards.Responsibilities:Safety:

Follow and promote safety guidelines during inspections and quality checks, contributing to a safe work environment.

Final Product Inspections:

Conduct final product inspections during assigned shifts to ensure solar cells meet quality standards. Use advanced inspection tools and techniques, such as IV testing, electroluminescence (EL) testing, to identify and document defects.

Quality Monitoring:

Identify and document defects found during final inspections, reporting issues to the Cluster Manager - FQA. Assist in implementing corrective actions to address identified defects.

Trace ID generation and Print logic:

Generation of Trace ID as per BOM for tracking of final product. Also, preparing print logic required for label printing as per Cell characteristics (eta, grade, color, etc.)

PSI & OQC:

Pre-shipment inspection of Cells and verification of transportation conditions to ensure product reaches customer end safely. Further, clearance of D.O in SAP and maintaining inspection records.

Customer Support:

Visit to Module lines to check for any product related issue. If any issue reported, verify and collect defectives and data; check at warehouse and production line for similar defective material; involve in RCA and improvement action and share corrective actions with Customer.

Benchmarking and Product Improvement:

Benchmarking with competitor cells and take part in NPD trials to improve Cell performance in Module testing (MLT, Bifaciality, CTM, etc.).

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of shift inspections, including inspection results and quality issues. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and company-specific requirements.

Training and Support:

Provide support to the FQA OQC/ Customer QA team in implementing quality improvements and training new staff. Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about FQA procedures and standards.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, elevate quality, and boost efficiency. This includes actively participating in projects that aim to enhance process product reliability.

Qualifications:Educational Qualification:

Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/electrical/chemical engineering.

Work Experience (Range of years):

2-5 years in quality assurance or production environment, preferably in solar cell manufacturing.
