- Manage the engineering operations and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety, and building automation systems
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable and efficient facility operations
- Lead a team of facilities engineers, technicians, and contractors, providing guidance, training, and professional development
- Create and manage annual operating and capital budgets for engineering functions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Develop and implement energy management strategies to improve efficiency and sustainability
- Oversee facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and support business continuity
- Establish and maintain documentation for all building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures
- Respond to emergency situations and implement effective solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in facilities engineering with at least 3-5 years in a management role
- Strong knowledge of building systems and operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Experience with building management systems (BMS) and energy management
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, PE, or CEM preferred
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices
