Supply Chain & Inventory Analyst – Data Integrity & PlanningLocation: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Senior Inventory & Supply Chain Analyst (India)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Analyst with strong analytical, data management, and planning skills to support our inventory transformation efforts. This role will be responsible for data cleanup, system migration readiness, and ongoing operational reporting, while contributing deeply to inventory optimization, PFEP, safety stock modeling, and forecast-driven recommendations. This position will work closely with and report to our Senior Analyst in India.Data Integrity & System MigrationLead data cleanup efforts in preparation for new enterprise system implementation.
Standardize, validate, and correct item master, lead times, BOM attributes, Min/Max values, and planning parameters.
Partner with IT, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to ensure accuracy and readiness of all inventory-related data for the software transition.
Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and exception reports.Recurring Outputs & ReportingProduce weekly, monthly, and annual supply chain and inventory health reports.
Monitor and present key metrics including on-hand accuracy, safety stock adherence, forecast accuracy, and slow-moving/obsolete trends.
Convert complex data into a clear, business-ready story: calling out risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.Inventory Planning & OptimizationOwn and maintain the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) including demand classification, replenishment strategy, and stocking parameters.
Perform safety stock calculations using statistical models based on variability and service levels.
Conduct regular Min/Max reviews and propose updates supported by demand patterns, supplier performance, and lead-time trends.
Provide monthly or quarterly recommendations based on forecast changes and historical demand behaviors.Data Analysis & VisualizationExtract, analyze, and interpret large datasets using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and ERP tools.
Build dashboards to automate recurring insights and increase visibility into inventory performance.
Present findings to leadership using simplified, story-driven narratives.Cross-Functional & Process SupportSupport the Senior Analyst in executing inventory planning initiatives.
Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to improve data flow and inventory accuracy.
Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes and reduce operational costs.
Assist in planning and executing supply chain resilience projects.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in inventory analysis, data analytics, or supply chain planning.
Proficiency in Excel (advanced), Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar).
Experience with data cleanup, system migrations, or item-master management strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate data into business insights and communicate clearly at all levels.
Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to collaborate across global time zones when needed.Preferred SkillsExperience with forecasting tools or statistical modeling.
Knowledge of inventory segmentation, demand classification, or PFEP methodologies.
Background in manufacturing or industrial supply chains.
Familiarity with Python or Power Query is a plus.
