Quality Assurance Test Engineer

• Must be QA Certified from any reputed certifications.
• Test case design (positive/negative/edge cases)
• Defect life cycle, severity vs priority
• Regression and release testing
• Experience testing:
• Role-based access control (RBAC)
• Forms, validations, workflows, approvals
• Reports, dashboards, exports
• Good understanding of SQL for validation (basic joins, filters, aggregates).
• Familiarity with QA documentation: Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Bug Reports, RTM.
• Strong communication to collaborate with dev + business teams.

• Perform manual testing: functional, UI, workflow, negative, boundary, and role-based access (RBAC) testing.
• Test the following in the application workflow - Approvals, reversals, corrections, recurring entries (where applicable)
• Role permissions across Admin/Manager/Employee workflows
• Perform regression testing for every sprint/release and maintain regression suites.
• Log defects with clear steps, screenshots, expected vs actual, severity/priority, and support developers in reproduction.
• Validate reports and exports (filters, totals, drilldowns, date ranges, CSV/Excel exports)
• Validate data accuracy at UI and DB level (where access is allowed), including calculations and postings.
• Conduct UAT support: help business users test, capture feedback, and confirm fixes.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies: refinement, planning, demos, release readiness.

• Automation exposure (any): Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
• API testing: Postman, validating requests/responses, auth tokens, status codes.
• Performance/basic load awareness (e.g., slow screens, heavy reports).
• Experience with ERP/Finance concepts (helpful):
• Experience with Agile tools: Jira/Azure DevOps, test management tools.
