- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations based on business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional BI solutions.
- Connect Power BI to various enterprise data sources including SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, Hyperion, Excel, and cloud platforms like Snowflake and Amazon Redshift.
- Build and maintain semantic data models, utilizing Power Query for efficient data transformation.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and user experience in all BI deliverables.
- Partner with business users, analysts, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and usability.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Enhance and maintain existing reports and dashboards to support evolving business needs.
- Provide user training and documentation, promoting a self-service BI culture.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Strong grasp of data visualization best practices and UX/UI design principles.
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, and Hyperion.
- Hands-on experience connecting to and transforming data from Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and spreadsheets.
- Proficient in SQL with a deep understanding of relational and columnar databases.
- Familiarity with hierarchical and financial planning data models.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex datasets and deliver insightful, user-friendly dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
