Responsible for analyzing and optimizing our clients' finance processes, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions, and providing expert guidance to ensure alignment with best practices. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver training to end-users. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, supporting system upgrades, and leading project implementations to enhance financial performance and reporting capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client requirements and design D365 Finance solutions that align with business needs.
- Lead finance-related modules within D365 F&O, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and integration of finance processes with other business functions.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and effective use of the D365 F&O system.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current on D365 F&O updates and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Assist in data migration and ensure data integrity throughout system implementations.Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a functional consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Strong understanding of finance principles and processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with financial module implementation and configuration within D365 F&O.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations are a plus.Tools Required:

- Lead functional design workshops and gather business requirements related to finance and accounting.
- Configure and customize D365 F&O Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices, compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Support data migration, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and post-implementation support.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O with a strong focus on Finance.
- Proven track record of leading full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
- Deep understanding of UK financial regulations and housing sector accounting practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance are highly desirable.
- Experience working in the housing, public sector, or non-profit domain.
- Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and integration tools.
- Knowledge of project accounting and grant management.
