Discovery’s family of Sports products/brands, including Eurosport, NCAA/MML, and Bleacher Report.Offices: WBD BangaloreSkills

1+ years of experience in TypeScript and modern JavaScript - including type systems and advanced language features

1+ years of experience building applications with React, including functional components and hooks.

Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.

Proficiency in Unit, Functional Testing & TDD is highly preferred.

Familiarity optimizing SEO performance metrics (e.g., Core Web Vitals)

Passion for translating complex design features into modular components using design software (e.g., Figma) is highly valuable.

Ability to create functional-level impact and deliver complex features with minimal oversight.

Effective communication skills as exemplified by technical documentation deliverables, and stakeholder and adjacent teams interactions.

Fluency in English is a must.

Bonus Skills· Experience with NextJS.· Experience with Jest.· Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Rush, Heft, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.· Experience with Material UI (MUI) for theming and component development.· Understanding of accessibility best practices and SEO is highly desired.· Experience with Kubernetes or ECS.· Experience integrating AdTech solutions.· Experience working with design tokens.· Experience creating and documenting components in isolation with Storybook.Technical Environment

Development Practices: TDD, pair programming, code reviews, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)

Deployment: Automated using Terraform/Github Actions on AWS

Technologies Used: GraphQL backend, Material UI

Agile Practices: Dailies, story detailing, planning, retrospectives
