- Accurate Forecasting: Develop and maintain robust demand forecasting models using statistical methods and market intelligence
- DIO Management: Monitor and optimize Days Inventory Outstanding to balance service levels with working capital efficiency
- Sales Analysis: Conduct comprehensive sales trend analysis, seasonality patterns, and market demand assessment.
- Factory Capacity Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing to align production capacity with demand requirements
- Level Loading: Implement production smoothing strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize variability
- OR Planning: Oversee Order Review planning processes to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets
- Manage end-to-end supply planning process.
- Oversee purchase order management and supplier coordination
- Implement inventory optimization strategies across all product categories
- Collaborate with Product, Sourcing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports aligned with business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessment for supply chain disruptions
- Prepare executive-level reports on performance and recommendations
- Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and cross-functional meetings.
- Support Category managers with Category and product insights
- Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
- Establish clear KPIs and accountability measures for team performance
- MBA, M.Sc. (Maths) or master's degree in data science with relevant experience.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in planning and demand/supply management
- Minimum 3-5 years of team leadership experience
- Experience in manufacturing or retail environment preferred
- Proficiency in demand planning software
- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, DAX, Data Modelling, Python with statistical analysis capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
