- Develop and implement BIM execution plans tailored to civil infrastructure projects.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings and ensure alignment across disciplines.
- Establish and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and quality control procedures.
- Create, manage, and maintain accurate Civil 3D models including surfaces, alignments, corridors, grading, and pipe networks.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools and resolve conflicts proactively.
- Integrate Civil 3D models with other platforms (e.g., Revit, InfraWorks, BIM 360) for comprehensive project visualization.
- Facilitate communication between design consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure timely exchange and integration of models and data across disciplines.
- Support project managers with BIM-related deliverables and reporting.
- Mentor junior BIM technicians and engineers on Civil 3D and BIM best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM tools and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, with at least 10 years using Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 / ProjectWise.
- Strong understanding of civil infrastructure design, including roads, utilities, and grading.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with federated model management and clash resolution.
- Autodesk Certified Professional – Civil 3D.
- BSI ISO 19650.
