Title / Designation: Sectoral Strategy Expert
Location: Shillong

Role & responsibilities:

Develop and implement sectoral strategies with a focus on sustainability and innovative practices
Conduct destination assessments and feasibility studies.
Drive investment, infrastructure, and innovation through stakeholder collaboration.
Manage projects end-to-end with focus on delivery and compliance.
Ensure regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, and funding agency compliance.
Prepare reports, frameworks, and presentations for decision-makers.

Candidate requirements:

8-10 years' experience in sectoral strategy planning, destination development, and feasibility studies.
Master's degree in business administration, Urban/Regional Planning, Infrastructure Management, or Architecture (master's is mandatory).
Experience with Externally Aided Projects (EAPs) and at least 1-2 years in government projects (preferred).
Strong expertise in master planning, regulatory compliance, and funding agency frameworks (World Bank, ADB, JICA, etc.).
Proven project management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation skills.
Excellent data analysis, report writing, and presentation abilities.
