- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly inspection activities in coordination with Logistics.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of incoming parts as per standard inspection procedures (SIP).
- Ensure inspection is completed within defined lead times.
- Analyze inspection results and take appropriate decisions (accept, hold, reject).
- Maintain and ensure availability of inspection equipment through calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Manage quality inspection (QI) consumables planning and availability.
- Ensure accurate system transactions and documentation updates (WI, SOP, DOP, HIRA, etc.).
- Maintain first sample retention and proper storage with identification for traceability.
- Manage rejected samples along with root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain historical records of localization and inspection samples.
- Handle supplier claims related to incoming rejections.
- Communicate rejection details to suppliers and obtain acknowledgements.
- Coordinate with Logistics and vendors for return, scrap, and credit note processing.
- Ensure timely closure of supplier-related quality issues.
- Work closely with Logistics, Localization, and cross-functional teams for inspection planning.
- Publish inspection results to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and manage materials in hold and rejection areas.
- Prepare and present MIS reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure safe working practices.
- Support energy management (EnMS) and sustainability initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional teams (e.g., Safety, First Aid, Emergency Response).
- Act as a backup for team members during absence.
- Complete assigned training programs and implement learnings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical inspection techniques and tools
- Knowledge of quality systems and documentation
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work within deadlines and structured processes
- Experience in incoming quality inspection or manufacturing quality roles
- Familiarity with supplier quality processes and claim handling

- Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
