Join us in shaping how millions buy, sell, and connect globally.About the RoleAs a Production Support Engineer in the Global Payments Operations Tech team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of our Payments 2.0 Platform. You’ll be at the intersection of technology and operations—collaborating cross-functionally and leveraging tools like AI/ML and Scheduling applications to optimize and modernize support systems at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with cross-functional teams to own and evolve the production roadmap for Payments, Billing, Collections, Finance domains.Lead and support daily production workflows, including incident response, resolution coordination, and automated and proactive monitoring.Serve as the functional and operational SME in areas like payments, billing, compliance, collections, and financial postings.Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs, dashboards, process documentation, and issue logs.Execute and enhance existing production control processes and ensure adherence to SOX IT controls.Participate in regular audits, system health checks, and ensure alignment with internal compliance policies.Drive product enhancements to strengthen production stability and controls.Provide first-level troubleshooting and lead resolution efforts for production issues across internal systems and external payment vendors/processors.Support month-end close activities, product rollouts, and smoke testing of critical releases.Technical & Functional Skills Required1–2 years of hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in production support, including:Automated log analysis and anomaly detection using Grafana, Kibana, or Splunk.Implementation of intelligent alerting systems and auto-remediation workflows.Use of ML models or services to improve observability and incident response.1–2 years of experience with Apache Airflow, specifically:Designing and managing DAGs for complex workflow orchestration.Integrating Airflow with monitoring, alerting, and scheduling pipelines.Strong background in UNIX/Linux environments.Hands-on experience with:NoSQL, Oracle PL/SQL.Python scripting, with a focus on automation, data extraction, and system and DB interactions.Shell scripting for log parsing, job execution, and process monitoring.MongoDB querying using Python (e.g., pymongo) or shell-based tools for real-time data inspection and diagnostics.Proficient in workflow scheduling tools such as Airflow.Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Hadoop, or Big Data platforms for creating analytical reports and for troubleshooting.Functional Experience of any large scale Payments and Billing Systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on production resiliency.Ability to author and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and specs.Soft Skills & AttributesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational abilities.Collaborative and proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset.Work ExpectationsNormally, you will work a standard 40-hour week.
