OnsitePurpose of Role:Weir Minerals is seeking a Project Engineer – SCM with a strong manufacturing background to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing strategic supply chain projects, with a focus on operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.The ideal candidate will manage project schedules, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and work closely with internal stakeholders to meet project objectives. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential. Lead and manage strategic SCM projects from initiation to completion.
Ensure project execution aligns with agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
Maintain and manage project documentation.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth stakeholder engagement.
Provide regular updates and monthly reports on project status.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
Utilise SAP and other ERP systems for project tracking and execution.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–6 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
