- Responsible for all the local procurement at City/Zonal level for product categories such Staples ( Pulses, Rice, Edible Oils, Flours etc), Packaged FMCG goods( Biscuits, Cold drinks, juices chips and namkeen etc), Fresh categories (Fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products) and Packaging material etc.
- Supplier Management- On boarding of regional/local brands/suppliers, build relationships, negotiation of commercial terms and evaluate their performance.
- Inventory Management – Managing stock levels to prevent stock outs as well as overstock.
- Compliance Management – Ensuring quality and compliance of the goods procured as well as the procurement activity comply with legal and ethical standards.
