Job Description: Senior Manager – Logistics (CPG Supply Chain)Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-impact, entrepreneurial logistics leader to own and transform the end-to-end logistics charter for a fast-growing CPG business. This role goes beyond execution — it requires designing scalable logistics systems, driving cost leadership, and delivering best-in-class customer experience across channels.Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Logistics Ownership
- Own complete logistics operations across inbound (Supplier → Warehouse), inter-warehouse transfers (IWTs), and outbound / secondary logistics (GT, MT, E-commerce, Quick Commerce)
- Ensure seamless movement of goods across the network with high service levels2. Cost Leadership & Optimization
- Own logistics cost end-to-end and drive best-in-class cost benchmarks
- Identify and execute levers across route optimization, vehicle utilization, and dispatch planning
- Build data-driven cost models and continuously improve cost per unit3. Logistics Transformation & Process Excellence
- Redesign logistics processes to improve speed, reliability, and scalability
- Drive automation and system-led decision making4. Partner & Vendor Management
- Manage large logistics partners and regional transporters
- Lead negotiations, performance management, and SLA governance5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Supply Planning, Sales, Warehouse, and Finance teams
- Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and execution6. Performance & SLA Management
- Track KPIs like cost per unit, OTIF, and transit TAT
- Drive accountability across teams and partnersRequirements
- 4–8 years of experience in logistics / supply chain
- Strong exposure to end-to-end logistics
- Proven cost optimization and process improvement experience
- Experience with 3PLs and multi-node networks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Background
- MBA from Tier 1 / Tier 2 institutes
- Engineering background is a plusWho You Are
