- Validates the assigned deliverables with a UX Researcher or an UX Lead and potentially presenting to larger stakeholder audiences during sprint reviews
- Supports the production, iteration and delivery of final design artifacts as defined by their project lead
- Attends all project UX meetings, design reviews, and workshops
- Collaborates with other stakeholders for input during the production of the artifacts and facilitates those discussions within their defined timeframe to deliver the solution.
- Collaborates and communicates professionally with clients and internal teams on projects
- Works with others, such as a UX Lead or a Product Owner, if working on a Sprint Team, to receive defined work assignments
- Assigned in a support delivery role for one project at a time.
- Reviews and translates release requirements into user experience
- Produces design artifacts such as thumbnails, workflow diagrams, storyboards, wireframes, sketches, and prototypes, research scenarios, visual mockups, etc. depending on the needs of the project and the tasks assigned to them by an UX Lead
- Reviews and translates release requirements into user experience, from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity mockups including applying the Duck Creek Design System, and making appropriate decisions regarding typography, color, and layout for all users
- Executes rapid, tactical research and discovery initiatives that inform product and design decision making
- Promotes the use of Duck Creek personas
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher level, or foreign equivalent, in HCI or a related design field or equivalent practical experience
- Total Work Experience: 2 to 4 years
- Must have experience in web technologies (HTML5, XHTML, XML, XSL, CSS3, SASS or LESS, JavaScript, Responsive web designs)
- Good understanding of any Object oriented programming language.
- Some experience in Information Architecture and Interaction Design, Visual Design and/ or User Research
- Preferred prior work or internship experience in a related field (Insurance)
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Understanding of the basics of Product Design
- Demonstrable ability for Design Thinking
- Familiarity with Duck Creek personas
- Good Problem-Solving skills
- Understanding of Lean UX methodology and the ability to iterate a concept into a polished deliverable
- Knowledge of 3rd Party Tools; VSS, TFS, SVN, Git etc.
- Debugging methods and Performance testing done in Developer Tools in different Browsers
- Insurance Domain Knowledge
- Experience on Web Services, WebAPIs, Troubleshooting DLL
- Travel: 0-10%
