- (1) MRO: Identification of high value products. Co-ordination of requirement with all business units with an objective to secure long-term savings. Identification and selection of supplier partners for such contracts. Facilitating technical engagements and lead commercial engagements with the potential partners. Finalisation of contract(s). Facilitating trials &/or sample approvals. Swift on-boarding of the new supplier-partners. Addressing concerns / grievances of suppliers and / or user teams during execution.
- (2) CAPEX:
- (a) Annual Capex: Seeking CAPEX projections, identifying products with potential for centralised finalisation. Joint Technical closures. Commercial finalisation and contracting.
- (b) Project Capex: Bidder identification. Technical Closures. Commercial finalisation and contracting. Ascertaining contract performance
- Renewals of ongoing MRO Rate Agreements within validity
- Connect with the procurement teams, Engineering teams and UHs to seek
- the consumption projections (quantity / timelines) of the identified MRO category.
- performance feedback of the incumbent suppliers
- Validate the projections. Consolidate the projections. Analyze the spending.
- Engage with the suppliers for commercial finalization.

- Processing LOIs/ Rate Agreements
- Periodic monitoring of supplier performance.
- Identification of new categories for rate agreements and processing the contracts, alternative Product / Supplier Development for MRO categories
- Analyzing SAP Data to identify MRO categories with potential for centralized finalization. Undertaking processes through periodic monitoring of supplier performance.
- Engaging with Unit Engineering and Maintenance teams for identifying products where the performance of incumbent suppliers is not satisfactory.
- Undertaking research for identifying, screening, and evaluating potential partners.
- Initiating and facilitating technical engagements with the potential partner and the unit team identified for pilot
- Commercial engagements for trial orders / pilot lots. Approvals and ordering.
- Monitoring the performance of the product / supplier for trial order / pilot lot.
- Scaling up the business to replace incumbent products / supplier gradually
- CAPEX procurement for units and projects.
- CAPEX for Units
- Engage with the Capex-budgeting team to seek and obtain the CAPEX plan.
- Identify CAPEX proposals (above a certain threshold - TBD) for finalization
- Initiating and facilitating technical engagements with the potential partner and the unit team.
- Commercial engagements and finalization.
- Approvals and LOI /PO
- Monitoring the supplier and product performance.
- CAPEX for Projects.
- Engage with the Projects Engineering team to seek RFQ
