Job Description Summary role description: Practice Leader - Enterprise Technologies for a global specialist Enterprise Technologies, Platform Engineering Solutions, IT Services and Consulting services client. Company description: Our client is a tenured, mid-tier global Enterprise Technologies Platform Engineering Solutions, IT Services and Consulting company that provides modernization solutions using their proprietary platform engineering framework. They are partnered with leading Enterprise Technology providers including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Salesforce. Role details: Title / Designation: Practice Leader - Enterprise Technologies Position: AVP/ VP Reporting Manager: CTO Location: Bengaluru Role & responsibilities: Set the vision for the practice and define the strategy, operating model, enterprise-architecture, and transformation roadmaps of the technology organizations. Identify and implement critical metrics necessary to manage and monitor the performance of overall operations. Develop strong relationships with clients as a trusted partner, engaging in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and pipeline development. Direct the design, delivery, and integration of solutions, ensuring alignment with clients' objectives, requirements, and industry best practices. Translate data insights into actionable strategies and recommendations for clients, demonstrating solid business acumen. Collaborate with sales, presales, and delivery teams, handling Order Book Pipelines, deal structuring, POCs, RFPs, and negotiations. Handle revenues and be responsible for the P&L for the geography, aiming for a 40% YoY growth. Build practices and teams, developing internal competence on technologies. Act as a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of technological advancements, best practices, and industry landscapes. Serve as a key catalyst and spokesperson for clients, technology teams, and senior leadership teams. Guide and mentor large teams, being flexible to changes towards organizational growth. Manage stakeholders effectively and exhibit strong people management capability. Architect and design business solutions in a service organization, delivering consulting engagements. Apply expertise in enterprise architecture, digital advisory, or technology delivery environment. Demonstrate domain expertise at a proficient level in one or more technology competency areas. Candidate requirements: 15 - 18 years of experience in Enterprise Technologies. Experience in handling large customers across multiple verticals and geographies. Prior experience in building practices and teams. Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. Rich experience in architecting and designing business solutions. Expert-level knowledge in SDLC, agile/waterfall, and consulting delivery methodologies. Strategic orientation and analytical problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple deadlines, and emerging challenges and priorities effectively.
