You will be responsible for supporting corporate cloud operations 24X7 for IT. You will be working actively on the operational issues along with internal / external partners to automate things and help recover from the systems failure (proactive/reactive). As an Azure Cloud Engineer at our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud services. Responsibilities . Relevant experience in cloud technologies (Azure), with overall IT operations delivery experience. . Must have handled a team of at least 2+ resources. . Well versed with ITIL terminology for Incident, Change, Problem Management. . Experience in creating Azure Cloud based infrastructure as per business requirements and within the Organization framework. . Supporting operating system versions for various flavors of Windows (Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019). & Linux (RHEL/Oracle/Ubuntu). . Well versed in Server Hardening/Patching/Governance process. . Experience in creating infrastructure within secure Vnet of Azure Cloud. . Experience in creating and maintaining scripts to provision/de-provision instances required for workloads. . Maintain organizational security compliances like passwords, key rotation policies . Should have experience of handling various Audit and Compliance activities like HIPPA, PCI, SOX etc . Create & maintain various types of alerts that monitor systems health and report any issues to SysOps team to resolve and/or escalate to the right teams . Cost savings/Cost Optimization is a vital activity, lifecycle management from start/stop instances to ensuring adherence to regular checks on what all can be optimized . . Azure Virtual Machines (VMs): Understanding how to deploy, manage, and scale virtual machines in Azure. . Azure Networking: Proficiency in configuring virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, load balancers, and VPN gateways. . Azure Storage: Knowledge of Azure Blob storage, Azure Files, Azure Disks, and managing storage accounts. . Azure Monitoring and Management: Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting. . Azure Security Center: Understanding security policies, threat detection, and compliance management in Azure. . Azure Backup and Site Recovery: Skill in setting up and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions. . Azure DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps services for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code. . Azure Load Balancer: Knowledge of distributing incoming network traffic across multiple VMs using Azure Load Balancer. . Azure SQL Database: Skill in deploying, managing, and optimizing Azure SQL databases. Azure Policy and Governance: Knowledge of implementing policies to enforce compliance and governance in Azure environments. . Azure Functions: Ability to create serverless applications using Azure Functions. . Azure Logic Apps: Skill in building workflows and integrating services using Azure Logic Apps. . Azure Key Vault: Knowledge of secure management of cryptographic keys, certificates, and secrets. KEY TECHNOLOGIES (Must have) . Microsoft Azure . Good to have Industry certifications like AWS SysOps , Azure 104, RHCE. . Good command over Linux shell command . Good command over Windows PowerShell . Scripting knowledge of at least one of the following: . JSON . Bash . Python . Perl Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . Bachelor&rsquos degree in computer science , Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). . Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including VMs, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure Resource Manager. . Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools. . Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts and experience with related tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or CloudFormation. . Experience with monitoring and management tools for Azure, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics. . Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. . Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications . Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus. . Strong communication and collaboration skills. . Good understanding of ITIL Process flow .
