- You will be joining the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework Adherence & Quality Assurance (QA) team. We partner closely with Business Divisions, Infrastructure functions, and Second Lines of Defense (2LoDs) to support them in managing their operational risk exposure and facilitate sound, risk-informed decision-making.

- Independently assess 1LoD and 2LoD Risk Functions degree of implementation and adherence to OR Framework requirements and in doing so, provide confidence in quality of OR outputs leveraged for decision-making.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Business Divisions, Infrastructure and RTCs to ensure collective design inputs are considered throughout the implementation and embedding of ORM Framework processes, controls, minimum standards.
- Consider current and emerging industry trends and standards, risk management practices and changes in the regulatory and operating environment.
- Support the development of Operational Risk systems, tools, and data infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to DB's BCM Procedure, requiring all mandatory scenarios documented in Business Continuity (BC) Plans to be rigorously tested.
- Validate all Recovery Solutions documented within the BC document for all Mandatory planning scenarios.
- Ensure comprehensive testing of all critical Business Functions.
- Coordinate and monitor participants performing production work (e.g., Live transactions) from recovery locations during normal business hours as part of BCM testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BCM processes and documentation.
- Experience with a minimum of 2 years in business, finance, risk management, consulting, or similar role within financial services.
- Understanding of Operational Risk Management principles and practices with relevant experience gained in 1LoD risk & control role, 2LoD risk function or Audit.
- Demonstrable experience of developing strong working relationships with business areas to facilitate successful risk management within the 3 LoD model.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with keen eye for detail and focus on quality control.
