AGM / GM – Costing & Plant Controlling

• Responsible for Manufacturing Accounting.
• Ensures compliance at Plant for all company policies, procedures, and controls related to costing process.
• Responsible for Activity Based Costing in plant. Aware of standard costing, weighted average costing etc.
• Responsible for consumption accounting for manufacturing plant and third party locations and regular reconciliation.
• Responsible for product costing, maintain and ensure accurate standard cost in system.
• Ensuring correctness of cost data in SAP. Material ledger run in SAP S4 Hana
• Preparation of monthly Margin (Gross Profit/Net Profit) report and monitoring low margin of product and customers with respective business leader.
• Responsible for cost center and internal order accounting.
• Work closely with supply chain and technical team on cost control & reduction
• Monthly reconciliation of standard & actual cost and variance analysis
• Maintaining Cost Records as per statutory requirement and Cost Audit
• Active co-ordination with Cost auditor, Statutory auditor, Internal auditor and TP Auditor
• Monthly MIS on Cost, PPV, Market outlooks on purchase pricing etc.
• Monthly Inventory valuation, provn. against slow and non-moving inventory and reconciliation with SAP.
• COGS Reconciliation, establish standard cost at activity level along with material movement.
• Involvement in Plant Budgeting/Forecasting.
• Lead cost targeting and benchmarking activities from concept to design to achieve the lowest product cost and support implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
