Purpose of the RoleTo collaborate with cross functional teams, in order to design and develop components/parts in the HVAC, Cockpit and Console segments.Job ResponsibilityShould have good knowledge in plastic part design, manufacturing and basic of plastic tooling knowledge and should know basic of plastic row material.To Lead a team of engineers and designers for project and Guide in concept design, macro feasibility during styling stage, engineering feasibility, Validation, Production build, launch and post launch support for complete cockpit assembly.Lead and guide the team in decision making for components and assemblies make and buy disussion, cost weight and qaulity balancing with the CE and PPM, enssuring timely delivery at every milestones as per project time plan and the schedule assigned by Project LeadStakeholder Profiles & Nature of InteractionsDesired Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor of Engineering in Automobiles or Platics
Master of EngineeringRelevant Experience:
10 to 13 years
Must have working knowledge CATIA part and product, experience in BOM generation and TPL with relation to feature list with ability and conduct hands on review on CATIA
Good working experience of Design and engineering processes (DFMEA, DVP, DFM, DFA and DFS)
Knowlefge of tooling of plastics, inspection fixtures, review of first tooled up parts, material selection and plastics assembly and joining technology, exposure on craftsmanship and PQ.
Expsoure to project management tools, quality gateways and cost managment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Cockpit Module part and make sure all regulations are metSkills & CompetenciesCross Functional CollaborationTechnical AcumenDriving Execution - Translating strategy into action and executionCustomer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (Stakeholders) needs or exepctations
