- Risk Prevention & Hazard Control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards through regular inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
- Implement control measures that reduce the likelihood of accidents, injuries, and operational disruptions.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Maintain documentation, permits, and safety records required for legal compliance and audits.
- Safety Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and skill-based training to educate employees and contractors.
- Promote a culture where safety is valued and understood by all personnel on-site.
- Incident Response & Investigation
- Lead investigations for near-misses, incidents, and safety violations; identify root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurrence.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Develop, update, and test emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and site-specific safety protocols.
- Coordinate with emergency services when needed.
- Continuous Improvement
- Monitor safety metrics (KPIs), analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance overall safety performance.
- Drive initiatives that reduce risk and improve operational safety efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, HR, management, and contractors to embed safety into daily operations.
- Act as the primary advisor on safety matters for site leadership.
