Job Description:This position is for UltraTech Cement Limited, Sarlanagar Cement Works, Sedam, KarnatakaDesignation: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/ManagerJob Band: 10Job PurposeEnsure secure environment in Plant, township & mines area, security of men & material, Access control of men, material & vehicles, execution of road safety norms to prevent incidents, protection & prevention measures for fire safety, coordination with all departments to resolve issues related to security, Incident investigation & reporting, Intelligence collection & dissemination, sending shift reports & MIS of security activities, manpower deployment & supervisionKey Result AreasKey Result Areas / AccoutabilitiesSupporting ActionsSecurity of Plant ,Mines & Township :Ensure security arrangements in plant, mines & township area to safeguard unit’s assets & employees. * Daily deployment of security manpower & supervision.

Patrolling of the area in regular intervals
Access control of men, material & vehicles
Ensure proper checking of men & vehicles at the Gates
Ensure PPE compliance while allowing inside.

Security Guards Deployment & supervision * Proper briefing & Debriefing of guards, deployment & supervision.2. Maintain Discipline of security guards3. Training & induction of new security staff.4. Skill assessment & performance evaluationLiaison Activities:1. Build relationships with local villagers, Govt. Officials so as to ensure seamless services at plant & township.2. Liaison with local poilice.Intelligence Information: * Gather informations on activities within and outside the plant.

Keep constant vigil on workers activities and unruly elements.
Ensuring procedures like Night Vigilance Duty (NVD), CCTV, MIS, etc.

Incident Investigation & Reporting * Investigate all security incidents & report to be sent to DH

Daily shift reports
MIS of security activities

SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives

Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.
Educating team about “I know my job”, “I know the hazards associated with my job and I applied control measures” & “I escalate to my senior” among manpower deployed in sections/department manpower including peer, WB & CL manpower.
Timely conducting scheduled SO round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
To conduct daily Tool Box Talk as schedule and before start the job any critical job along with SWP
Active participation in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event

System Management
(Effective implementation of IMS and other systems requirements through involvement for continuous improvement in plant working condition & quality standards)1. To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for Non-Conformity in section during internal and external audits or assessments.
