You will be the voice of the customer, storyteller, problem-solver and negotiator for the product and the teams involved in building and releasing it.Your Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog by partnering closely with product managers and business teamsContribute to building product vision and defining value proposition of features and functionalitiesCollaborate with internal and external partners, stakeholders to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goalsHelp drive a continuous product discovery process designed around learning and experimentation with the help of agile teams.Refine product backlog so that agile teams can understand and engage with it for their iteration planning and execution.Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge, answering questions and bringing clarity to teams & stakeholdersLiving and demonstrating agile values and principles, nurturing empiricism among the agile teams.Own the “Why” of the product, Influence the “what”, negotiate for the “when” and enable the agile teams to effectively decide the “who” and “how”Your Qualifications & ExperiencesBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven expertise as a Product Owner role, with at least 3 years of prior experience in the role in scrum/SAFe settingLong-standing experience as an agile practitioner in digital product development, at least 8 years of prior experience in this fieldExcellent presentation skills and ability to influence decisions with logic and clarity in a geographically distributed global teamHands-on experience and knowledge of agile tools like JIRA, Aha!, ConfluenceKnowledge of software engineering practices, Product development & delivery processes and Software lifecycle managementPrior experience of leadership role in the field of Software Engineering / Data Engineering / Analytics & Business Intelligence / Machine Learning, preferably in a healthcare company would be an advantageWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
