The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes, enabling faster and more reliable releases. Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for container orchestration to streamline application deployment and scaling. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure. Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems and applications. Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize deployment processes. This Role Requires: Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and GCP services. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and source control systems (e.g., Git). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell. Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
