Our technology provides threat detection and screening solutions for customers in our key markets: aviation, ports and borders, defence, and urban security.Our expertise spans 21 global offices, seven manufacturing sites and five R&D centres, with a global network of 3,000 dedicated colleagues contributing towards over 40 years at the frontline of advances in safety and security.This results in careers built on variety and the opportunity to work on a range of state-of-the-art solutions, where you can develop your knowledge and experience every day.Job DescriptionJob Purpose and ScopeAs a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will play a vital role within our global marketing communications team.Your key responsibilities range from supporting members of the Marketing team in creating compelling marketing materials for distribution to customers and external as well as internal stakeholders, and the coordination of events and tradeshows.This is a hands-on role will involve crafting newsletters, presentations, brochures, white papers, email campaigns, and engaging social media posts tailored to the defined audiences.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to devise and execute product specific marketing communication strategies.
  • Create, manage, and maintain a diverse range of marketing collateral, including newsletters, presentations, brochures, white papers, email campaigns, and social media content, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics in the Aviation, Ports & Borders, Defence, and Urban Security sectors to develop marketing reports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and PID, to understand their communication needs and provide tailored support.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing communications efforts, using data and insights to refine strategies and materials.
  • Assist in the organisation and coordination of events, trade shows, and webinars, ensuring all promotional materials are prepared and aligned with event objectives.
  • Play a key role in managing marketing projects by setting and adjusting deadlines, updating task progress in ClickUp, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

QualificationsTechnical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Business, International Business or Commerce, from Tier 1 University.
  • 1-2 year's experience in similar role.
  • Superior organisational, analytical, interpretation and problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Fluent in English with excellent copy writing skills.
  • Able to gather and analyse information expeditiously and then develop compelling, insightful recommendations; presenting them in an executive summary.
  • Ability to work proactively, independently, taking ownership of projects, whilst also working collaboratively sourcing information from cross-functional teams.
  • Developed stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships quickly.
  • Good to have - graphic design skills to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of marketing materials, including infographics, illustrations, and other design elements.
