We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our Filter Press manufacturing team. The Design Engineer will play a critical role in developing and designing various mechanisms for production and customer-specific requirements. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks will be essential in this role to ensure efficient and high-quality designs.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop different types of mechanisms for Filter Press manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production and customer requirements.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize designs for efficiency and quality.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Perform structural analysis and simulations to validate designs and ensure their integrity.
- Generate engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs) for production.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth implementation of designs on the shop floor.
- Participate in design reviews, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and propose design modifications for enhanced performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in design engineering.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
- Experience in designing mechanisms, structures, and components.
- Ability to perform structural analysis and simulations using relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and design codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.
