Government and public sector transactions services, sits under EY's Transaction Advisory Services practice, a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team, working with leading businesses across a range of industries. This practice is in a unique position to deliver implementable strategies given the firm's sector depth, transaction perspectives, and operational insights.The practice provides experience working with various sectors such as, Transport, Social & Health care, Education, Urban & Infrastructure, Economic Development Advisory , Water waste & Sanitation, Power & Utilities and Public Finance & Management.SaT - TCF - Infrastructure Advisory :Strategy and Transactions enables clients to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios and reinvent for a better future. Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to today's toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. The CCS include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate and Reshaping Results, and are underpinned by our Connected Capital Technologies.Our key focus areas are - Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy and EY Parthenon - Execution.Your key responsibilitiesTechnical ExcellenceStrong understanding of investment promotion frameworks and economic development strategies.Ability to conduct economic, financial, and policy analysis for sectors and projects.Knowledge of PPP frameworks, industrial policies, and incentive structures at national and state levels.Skills and attributesTo qualify for the role you must have
QualificationPost-graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Management, Urban/Regional Planning, or equivalent.Preference for candidates with MBA, MPP, or Masters in Economics/Planning.ExperienceConsultant level: 2-4 years' experience in investment promotion, economic research, or consulting.Senior Consultant level: 4-7 years' experience, including exposure to government advisory or sector-specific projects.Manager level: 7-10 years' progressive experience in investment promotion, strategy consulting, or project management with government clients.What we look forPeople with the ability to work in a collaborative manner to provide services across multiple client departments while following the commercial and legal requirements. You will need a practical approach to solving issues and complex problems with the ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions.
